Duo

Luxarion is the duo of pianist, composer and arranger Oleksandr Alikhanoff and singer Mariia Alikhanova (Mira). At its heart is the dialogue between voice and piano: both stand on stage as equal partners, and every interpretation lives from subtle emotional nuances.

The repertoire ranges from jazz standards and well-known pop songs to film music and original pieces – almost all in their own arrangements for piano and voice. Founded in 2025 as a larger ensemble with strings, guitar and percussion, Luxarion now performs as a duo, including at BonnFest 2025 in Bonn.

Mira

Mira is a mezzo-soprano. Her focus is contemporary pop music and her own songs – in Luxarion she is not only the voice on stage but also writes the duo’s original songs.
